Olivko keeps its promises, pays tribute to teamwork of extra virgin olive oil processing

Karim Fitouri, Founder of Olivko winner of the gold medal prize of the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC), held in New York, USA on Thursday April 27, 2017, .keeps his promises by paying tribute to all those who contributed to achieving this success through the different steps of processing.

He acknowledged the efforts made by Slim Fendri owner of the “Domaine Fendri”, the young Sfaxian who spent the last 15 years striving to improve the quality of extra virgin olive oil.

The process is not easy and needs all the care required from hand picking a good quality olives to the immediate journey to the mill to be crushed and give higher quality olive oil.

Olivko founder Karim Fitouri said this award is the result of the hard work and perseverance of a whole team that through their know-how and awareness of the importance of the different steps of making extra virgin olive oil, they have reached their target for success which was recognized in the 27th of April, 2017 by the world best fifteen judges who were chosen to participate in the New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC).

Karim Fitouri believes that success is not individual, but rather the result of all the team working together. “By helping each other it is the only way we can reach exceptional Extra Virgin Olive Oil Juice that can be recognized worldwide”, he quoted.
