Tunisian actor and star Fares Landoulsi took part in the Tunisian drama “Wled El Ghoul” by Director Mourad Ben Cheikh.

This new drama, due to premiere in Ramadan 2021, will mark Fares Landoulsi’s first appearance in a Ramadan drama, following his overwhelming success in Netflix’s Messiah series in 2020.

Directed by Mourad Ben Cheikh and written by Rafika Boujday, the 30-episode “Wled El Ghoul” is a social drama that retraces the different aspects of the lives of several characters, their daily paradoxes and conflicts as their paths intersect.

The story of El Ghoul family is about a well-to-do family but very quickly torn by an old and distant injustice, probably unfounded, which leads a wife to turn her children against their own father, causing the irreparable. This family consists of three legitimate children, a girl and two boys, as well as an illegitimate son from a love affair between the father El Ghoul and his mistress.

Along with Fares Landoulsi, “Wled El Ghoul” is performed by Fethi Al Hadawi, Wahida Dridi, Helmi Dridi, Sarra Hanachi, Youssef Meksi, Amira Derouiche, Maram Ben Aziza, Yasmin Boabid, Fethi Meslmani, and Chakra Ramah.

Fares Landoulsi plays the role of Youssef who is a young music composer, a big dreamer passionate about the lute.  He already sees himself as a big musician dreaming of writing and composing to the most famous singers who have marked the history of Tunisian music at a certain time …

But unfortunately, everything does not go as expected, this unconditional love that he has for his instrument quickly turns into a double-edged sword, by putting him in front of a difficult choice; to give up his childhood dreams and live peacefully, under the roof of his family; made up of half brothers a stepmother and a difficult father or assume this generational conflict and do everything to be able to live from his passion … the search for the truth will never leave Youssef’s eyes from the beginning to the end of the series…

So let’s discover together what will happen with Youssef and Ghoul’s family,  in the new series that will be premiered on the Tunisian TV channel Attessia in Ramadan.
